Toru HASEGAWA
Dancer/Taiko Player
He is the member who launched <MADAKOBAYASHI>.
Performs work draft, composition, choreography, and composition of drum music.
After working as a company employee, since 2009 he has been active as a Taiko(Japanese Traditional Dram) player at “Tokyo Dagekidan”and “Wadaiko Ippa Shishimaru”.
Also teaches lessons at Miyaji Gakki Music Studio.
From 2012, participated in “Co. Yamada Un”.and entered the world of dance.
Appeared in domestic and overseas performances and participated in many workshop activities as a company dancer.
Guest performances include “Fujiyama Annette”, “Mikuni”, “Oshare Shinshi x Umebou”, and Miyako Kato's works.
In 2014, he formed a Japanese drum and a dance unit <MADAKOBAYASHI>.
As a solo, he focuses on taiko and dance, both body techniques, and focuses on creating his own works that come and go.
He performs a wide variety of expression activities, including outdoor performances, collaborations with other genres, and music production.
In 2018, he won the Hokkaido Dance Project NEXT ONE award for his solo work "Naruhodo”.

Disliked foods are pickles in general, raisins, shiitake mushrooms, cinnamon, apricot, persimmons, Hampan, eel, raw shrimp (I like the taste but allergic) etc.
Naoyuki SAKAI
Dancer / choreographer
He is the member who launched <MADAKOBAYASHI>.
He is mainly responsible for the composition and choreography of the song scene.
He has participated as a dancer in the dance company <Co.UnYamada> from 2012 to 2019 and has performed in numerous national and international performances.
He has been a graduate student at Tokyo University of the Arts since 2018, producing performances based on Butoh's research.
He is the teacher of Dance Well, a dance activity primarily aimed at people living with Parkinson's.
He graduated from Department of Performing Arts, College of Arts, Tamagawa University in 2013.
He can't eat chocolate mint ice cream.

Ayato SAITO
Taiko player
He is the member who launched <MADAKOBAYASHI>.
In April 2014, graduated from the Department of Visual Arts, Faculty of Arts, Tamagawa University.
When he was a child, he first touched a Japanese drum with a local Bon drum, and was attracted by the powerful sound.
He entered the university and touched on Japanese drums in earnest. In 2012 and 2013, he successfully performed at the Washington Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, Philadelphia Cherry Blossom Festival, and at a partner school with Tamagawa University.
He belongs to the local “Daiwa Taiko Kochu”, and plays the largest six-size drum in Kanagawa Prefecture. He participates in local summer festivals and the Fuchu Kurayami Festival, which has been designated as an intangible folk cultural property of Tokyo as a ritual that has continued for more than 1000 years, and is active in local activities and the continuation of traditional Japanese events.
While working at the Taiko Center Co., Ltd., he has been playing and a lecturer, and has appeared in numerous events including in-house voluntary live performances, support for the Wagakki Band Great New Year's Party, and support for Kensaku Sato, the man selected for the taiko.
Currently a freelance player. Also he is creating powerful works where the physicality of taiko performance and the musicality of dance intersect as a member of <Madakobayashi>, and performing while opening up new possibilities for taiko.
Mayu YAMAZAKI
Dancer/Performer
She has been participating in <Madakobayashi> since 2017.
She is mainly responsible choreography.
She started classic ballet at the age of three, and spent ballet days until high school.
At Tamagawa University Faculty of Arts, she studied Japanese dance and other genres of dance and expression.
From 2015 to the present time she has been active as a member of the dance company <Co.Yamada Un> and has performed in numerous domestic and international performances.
She has participated in works by Jyu Horiuchi, Tomoko Mukaiyama, Tatsuya Kusuhara, <Fujiyama Annette>(Nei Hasegawa), and others.
She also focuses on personal activities such as performing session performances with musicians.
In the media field, she appeared as a choreography assistant and appeared on a SoftBank commercial "The Year of the Dog, isn't it good?"
The foods I hate are natto and raw green onions.
